I got this to temporarily affix a zipper to upholstery fabric for a box cushion I was making. It worked great–very firm hold and I was able to cleanly sew the zipper on. Since then I’ve used his glue in many different ways–such as to temporarily tack down interfacing, patches, fold over elastic , and interlining. I’ve tried several different basting glues over the years, but this is the best I’ve tried–the diameter is small enough to use in small areas (such as zipper tape and FOE), and the glue dries quickly but firmly. And of course it washes out as it should. My only complaint is that it runs out fast, but I suppose a longer glue stick would be unwieldy. Oh, and new glue sticks are super to easy to insert–just push down and voila.
